What is Black Brilliance?
Black brilliance is the creative potential toward ingenious self-inquisition & expression, catalyzed by the disparities of a racially inequitable society.
The avenues to black brilliance are revealed in cycles throughout history — in the form of artistic and community civil movements — that vigorously erupt due to the marginalization and manipulation of the black identity.
The reality of the black person has been mostly misled over the past few centuries and deserves leadership towards a golden path.
Very seldom is self-reflection and positivity promoted in colored communities, obscuring many problems lingering in regions of underrepresentation and often coinciding with weakly funded educational systems.
By accepting the vulnerability of dealing with moments of short handedness, I promote my own brilliance. My experience as a minority is used to recapitulate pain into art that can inspire others to seek out and embrace their own brilliance so that they may rediscover their own stories to be shared; because, sharing our experiences helps us capture a type of wisdom that is difficult to research.
